Change Color of Progress Bar in Win98

Is there an easy way to change the color of the sliding 'progress bar' when moving around the net?

I am used to a standard blue color on the progress bar and my used laptop has a red 'progress bar.' I can't find any way to change this color. Thanks.

Hello:

If I am not mistaken, the progress bar is determined by the settings in:

Control Panel > Display > Appearance > Item: Selected Items.

This is also the setting that determines the "highlighted" colour of a menu item with you hover your pointer over it.
