Hello all: I am running WinME OS, using winamp, on a phllips dvdr/cdr,& hp dvd rom. When I insert a store brought pre-recorded cd or cdr into either of the cd drives I get a winamp icon of one track. The track will consist of the total run time of the entire cd. i.e. if the pre-recorded cd has 10 tracks, the icon would show 1 track with the total size of the entire cd. Winamp/media player/realplayer does not know what to do with this and does not play the cd. I am able to rip/burn an entire cd using Nero without a problem, but cannot access individual tracks, but the cds will play in a home cd player fine. The drives will detect data fine and play mp3's fine. Any suggestions? I've searched the Microsoft website with no leads.

Nope... that didn't work.
I installed the newest version of Winamp same thing.

This is an old post, but I have yet to solve the problem.

No, dvd's work fine. I am only having problems with audio. I am testing the drives by using pre-recorded cd's only. All the tracks still list as a single track with the total time of the entire album.
