ok i got it to open,and i think the people at iomega are complete morons because they are not helping at all. i have a usb predator iomega cd-rw i installed the adaptec software,the drivers,and the update module. Now when i go into my device manager under usb controllers my iomega shows up with no conflicts as goes with the hard disk controllers,iomega is present with no conflicts.My problem is its not showing up in "my computer" as a new drive. Why? i have uninstalled and reinstalled the software and drivers 3 times already and i had this on my computer before but i recently reformated.

Not sure this is it since the drive seems to be showing up in device manager, but after the reformat did you reinstall the motherboard chipset drivers?

ok well i wouldnt have posted again but i am not getting any responses,and i made a donation with my friend who uses this site hoping to get one and still no help. Anyways, i am using windows 98se and i have a web cam but i unplugged the web cam so i can see if thats whats causing the problem,not to mention the web cam i am using didnt even have the driver installed. So any suggestions?
