Slow n that down should help. I have the newest Windows media player and I let it convert and burn for me. If quality copies is what you desire then dont go any faster then 12x. Depending on the writers quality or the burning program you use, 12x should be safe. Three yeas ago I wouldve said dont go any faster than 4x but the writers are getten better and better
Since your going to .wav, 12 is good for now. If still having problems after that then slower yet. Remember that only applies to music and cd copying , normal data really doesnt matter. Try to find a program that you can control the write speed with like Windows media player.
