Hi there, sounds like Windows thinks there's a problem.

You could try going to the Device Manager tab in Control Pnael - System and delete the entry relating to the CD-rom drive - not the words CD-ROM, just the entry beneath in the tree.
Don't worry, if you reboot Windows will recognise the device and reinstall it in the DM list.
This may solve the problem.

Let me know if this works or not
