After install a new hard drive my cd rom/dvd drives letter disappeared. I tried to reassign the letter drive but I'm unable to see it in disk management. I remove the new hard drive to try to restore the settings but it still does not show up. any suggestions?

How did you hook up the New Hard drive....on Secondary IDE and as Slave or Master??

Do you have any room on your Primary IDE cable and then you put the New Hard drive on as Slave (using the jumpers on the back of the Hard drive)

What else do you have on the Secondary IDE?
