Help! I was having a problem with MusicMatch 9 frequently crashing, and tech support told me to delete the MMCD.INI file and under "recorder settings" to auto config with music disks in both my CD trays. Now, both CD players play CD's with a gargled sound. MP3 files on my computer play OK, and the CD drives work fine for data, programs, etc.

The Dell support person said the only way I could regain the use of my CD drives to play music was to re-install my operating system, since something about the MusicMatch manipulation corrupted something in my Windows operating system.

Is there anything else I can do so I don't have to re-install and re-load EVERYTHING on my computer?
