Well... my cd drives are gone from "my computer" they just dissapeared! I got attacked by a virus recently and i think that might have caused it. It messed all my boot files up so i used windows xp disc to "repair" and it put a new installation of windows xp on. All my other drivers were kept like my video card and everything, so i'm not sure what happened to my cd drives. They don't show up in device manager, not even with an error by them but when i boot up with the windows xp cd in the drive it asks me if i want to boot from cd. So obviously they're detected before windows loads I just don't know what's happening =(. Any help would be appreciated.
