I am running Windows 2000, my computer said that my disk was full, so I was deleting a bunch of music files Sunday night.

I must have deleted something else by accident because now my CD Drive will not recognize a CD, whether it be a audio or data CD.

I just keep getting the message: Please insert a disk into drive D:

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that has not worked at all. The Device Manager says: This device is working properly.

I am not a computer techie at all, so if you wouldn't mind giving me simple directions I would really appreciate it!
