Just recently my CD drive has started causing problems - I cannot burn CDs on it and when I try to install software, it causes the PC to hang. I have also had the error message: Windows cannot 'idlist,:1004:2984,D:\'.
As a relatively new PC person, I have tried to look at what seem to me to be the obvious things, but I don't seem to be getting anywhere fast! I have even checked out ASPI etc.
Please forgive my ignorance, but can anyone help?
