I just purchased some RJ-45 jacks for Cat5e and discovered that they were marked incorrectly. The error is that the blue pair is inverted according to 568A & 568B standards. (Pin 4 is color coded for white/blue and pin 5 is blue.) Some of these jacks were terminated onto plenum cables with correctly marked RJ-45 jacks on the other end. The effect is that TRD2+ and TRD2- get swapped from one end to the other. I'm guessing this going to cause a problem. Is it?

Some NICs autodetect the way the cable is wired. If your NICs do this, you won't have any trouble. Sounds to me like you bought crossover cables without intending to.
