I have Win98se.
When I select Help from Start menu I get this:

This program has performed an illegal operation...
HH caused an invalid page fault in
module ITSS.DLL at 019f:7c51d301.

then this
HH caused an invalid page fault in
module ITSS.DLL at 019f:7c51932e.

I've tried Microsoft's ideas:deleting hh.exe, renaming files, etc, but no good.

I have an athlon 200xp with 512M RAM.

Any help appreciated.

If this problem just cropped up maybe you can do a scanreg/restore.

This usually means that the hh.dat file is damaged. You can

1.) Click Start... Find... Files and Folders
2.) Type hh.dat and click find now
3.) Delete hh.dat

I agree that you should try a registry restoration first...,but more than likely...this is an old problem that you just haven't seen because you haven't used the help or index features.
