ok, i've been having problems with IE6 and want to go back to IE5.5, problem is, when i go to uninstall, the remove option is grayed out, all I can do is repair or add new component. AnyThoughts?

I found the following in a news group.
I haven't the foggiest whether it's any good:

This procedure has worked for some people:

Open C:\Program files\Internet Explorer.
Right click the folder Uninstall information.
Click 'Properties', and uncheck the hidden mode, and press 'OK'
Now go to C:\Program files\Internet Explorer\Setup, and Run 'setup.exe'

Good luck,

I didn't get your last suggestion before I re-installed windows but the good news is, it worked, all i had to do was rename one file and it reinstalled IE5 to it's default settings, so I am happy and my problem is gone. Thanks for the link.:)
