Okay I just did a repair of Office and it fixed whatever the problem was -- sorry I should have tried that before I posted.

Can't see text in Outlook or Internet Explorer
Something very strange is happening to my computer. With certain emails that come in -- I can see the first few lines of text through the preview (though NOT in the preview pane), but when I try to open the email it looks as if it is blank. Also, when I try to go to certain websites (this one included) I can only see the large images at the top of the screen, but nothing else. Also, I can't see the Restore down/Maximize buttons on the upper right hand corner of Outlook and IE (though I CAN see the minimize and close buttons).
The only thing that I can think of... it that I was looking at paint swatches online and I allowed them to recallibrate so that I could see the colors properly -- I noticed this problem shortly after that.
I did a full virus scan and it came back clean.
