Hello!,
Here at the office we have a Sony Mavica CD 350 as part of our employee and students ID card system. We take ID pictures and download to a Windows XP Computer using a USB cable in order to create the ID's. What we are trying to do is to see if we can take the CD's directly to the computer, open the CD and transfer all pictures to the hard drive. When we place the tiny CD on the CD reader we can't see anything. We have to use the USB cable to get the pictures on the computer's hard drive. What can we do in order to avoid that step? What can we do to the CD reader? Thanks for your help!

If the computer came with XP or even USB you should have support for the little 3 inch CDs. Does the drive have the depression to hold the smaller CD in the tray?

If you clicked on the drive holding the Sony mini-CD in either Windows Explorer or My Computer and just draw a blank I guess it isn’t working. Whether the camera isn’t writing the CD or the computer can’t read it could probably be answered by trying the CD in a computer you know will read the mini-CDs.

Hi all I also have a Mavica CD ans what you need to do is put the cd back in the sony
then turn to "set up" on the top knob and hit down on the back control until you find
"disk tool one" then finalize the disk and it will work in your computer
