I can ping an ip address from a wireless connection but can't ping the domain name.

Other relevent info:

AP - Linksys WAP11
NIC - D-Link Airplus 650
OS - Win2k

----
When attemping to browse, getting DNS error: page can't be diplayed.

Can access pages only by entering and ip address (i.e. 24.137.12.200)

Confiirm in your tcp settings on your computer that you have your DNS servers set to obtain one automatically. If they are not set that way, then set it that way, so they can be assigned ones by the router.

If you are still having problems, connect to the web interface on the router and make sure the DNS servers are being received properly there.

If you just installed this wireless router, make sure you have the external DNS set properly on it. Typically you want your PC to use the router as it's DNS server and the router to use your ISP's.
