Can't receive gmail

I have a colleague who is retiring and is using a new email address. I can send email to him, but I can get nothing from him. I have an sbcglobal.net account (yahoo) and I pop my emails to Microsoft Outlook.

I cannot get anything from him either by going to yahoo.com or anywhere. This is not good as we work together very often.

Please help!

Has he sent you anything from his NEW account?
Is he sending to the correct email address?
What is his NEW email domain name?
Yes...he has even tried responding to my email. I get nothing!
MS Outlook is a rather old and discontinued mail program. It was replaced with Outlook Express (which I liked) and then Windows Live email (which I hated.)
I suggest getting the same provider as your colleague.. (or he get yours) and test that. Either of you can change, but pretty sure if you both have the same email provider you should be able to communicate in both ways.
You could go with a gmail account (a Google thing), or even Thunderbird.

If it's totally work related contact your IT department and they should set you up.

What!?! Emerald3358 didn't say which version, but certainly Microsoft Outlook 2016 is far too recent to be called old and certainly not discontinued.
Yes Terry, no version posted, but Outlook hasn't worked on my computer for about 6 years, even having searched for it that works with Windows 7, seems I should have asked here first and foremost in a separate thread.
A brief search led me to post what I thought was useful to this thread...plus we don't know what Windows version...
but I 'll just bow out now...

and you'll berate me for that as my source, and rightfully so.

I'm guessing you have a pre-2007 version. See Microsoft Outlook for some version information.

Outlook 2016 or 365 is as new as MS Office it's self.
Yes, I started with Outlook 98 which came on a FREE CD from MS and have been using it ever since.
Before that I was using Outlook Express, so it was a easy conversion.
Thanks for the info folks! Sorry I let this tread drift a bit off topic...

Does he get any kind of "bounce back" msg.? Perhaps your mail provider is rejecting his mail because of his domain or IP address.

What is his new email domain (the part after the @; don't post his account name)?

Ask for his IP address or ask him to do a Blacklist check.

Is he having trouble sending to anybody else?

My apologies also. I was a big help in nearly hijacking the thread.
Do you have his "Domain" blocked within your email program?
