Can't Re Install MS Office Pro 95

I'm trying to Re install MS Office Pro 95. I'm running Win98se. I recently formated the hard drive. Now when trying to Re install, I get a message saying it cannot find previous version. To install I must have a qualifying product installed. Qualifying products are on box. I don't have the box. Can anyone help. Thanks

Working from memory, you need:

Any of a previous word or excel version, or wordperfect, or a version of microsoft works. There were some others (amipro?) that don't come to mind at the moment.

You could try putting a renamed dummy file "winword.exe" on the HDD and see if it could be fooled?

Thanks for your help. Your examples steered me to an old program (Key WordPro Plus by Softkey) it worked.
