I have recently swictched companies, and I wanted to bring my pst file with me. On my old system I was running Win2K with Office2K now I have WinXP with OfficeXp. When I try to open the file with new machine running outlook2k2 I get the error "The file c:\*.pst is not a valid pst file. I have tried everything. The read only checkbox is cleared and I have persmissions to the file. I have seen this issue posted elsewhere but I have never seen a resolution for this and microsoft has nothing about it on their website. If anyone has resolved this issue please help me.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Thanks sprocket looks like this fellow has the same problem as me, but I don't think it was resolved by the end.

When I goto File-->Open-->Outlook Data File and Goto File-->Import, and when I add it through services I get the same error

The file C:*.pst is not a personal folders file.
