I downloaded powertoys from microsoft and loaded in the image resizer. It created a config.msi on my hard drive. I didn't know what this was, it has 0 bytes in it. Now I can't open my jpegs, or bmps with my default nero photosnap software, it wants to default to the windows picture and fax viewer, I don't want that. I get "can't open jpeg" in my nero software. Does anyone know whats happening? I've uninstalled the image resizing, and thought it would work again, but it hasn't. Help!! Thanks. Silverado4

This is quite easily fixed.

Select an image file and right click on it, then select 'open with' and then 'choose program' shortly a box will open. Before you search for the program tick the box 'always use this program to open these files' then search for the program, highlight it and press OK. Now all your jpegs will be associated with that program. You'll need to do the same with bmp as well.

As a note, usually when you install any imaging software there will be a box 'pre-ticked' saying 'assiciate all image files with .......' . Make sure you read before clicking. :)

Good luck
