I downloaded the trial version of Adobe Indesign at the Adobe website but I can't install it since I can't find it on my hard drive!
After I finished downloading it, I didn't want to install it then since I had spent the night downloading it (I use dial-up) and wanted to go sleep. Afterwards, I went back to install it but I can't find it anywhere....I tried using the search function on my Windows ME but every attempt was fruitless.....I tried variations of the name of the file but nothing each time.....where could it be?

Thanks for reading my message and any help will be *greatly* appreciated!

Hiya

Did you download the a fully functional 60-day tryout version? Just looking at the site now.

Look for: id152tryENG.exe

Your number may be different, so search for eng.exe, or similar

It can't just disappear like that. Do you have a default download directory where downloads usually go?

Download something small, and see where it ends up.

You can also go to Start/Find/Files or folders, and go to the 'Date' tab. Look for files created around the time you downloaded. Be prepared to see a lot of them... :D

Also, check the site you downloaded the file from for the name of the file. That would make finding it a lot easier.

Good luck,

Tony:

I went to the site, and I put in my details for that trial software download. The bit about id152tryENG.exe was what came up before I downloaded it.
The number may change, as in , if there was 153rd person downloading it, it may be id153tryENG.exe.
