Ok... this morning I was using my PC, listening to music through my headphones. I went to get ready for work, when I came back there was an error on my PC. I didnt read it, I just clicked the "dont send" message and logged off.
When I came home, start up my PC, now I cant hear anything through my headphones. I tried plugging them into a different USB port, didnt work. I can unplug the headphones, turn on my speakers and I hear just fine through them... so there is sound. I plugged my headphones into my laptop and my husbdands PC and they work fine. So its not them either.

Why all of a sudden wont my headphones work with my PC? Its like they dont recognize them.

:(

What can I check to fix this? Help please.

MY soundcard is the Audigy 4 & my headphones are Logitech USB

Thanks

That's just my question. Does your computer recognize the headphones, or does it not show that they're connected?
Forgive me for such a vague question on my behalf; I don't use "good" audio equipment. I've got no real need for it... anyway... if you can answer that, it'll at least help us determine what sort of problem it is. Thanks.

Do you have any errors in Device Manager? Do the headphones show up in Device Manager or anywhere else?

Also, whats the exact model of the headphones?

I forgot DM. That works even better. I was originally just thinking that maybe for some reason the computer really WASN'T recognizing the headphones. Good call.
