I have a 120 Gb WD HD 7200 RPM
My main partition is 60 GB (win xp pro SP2) and I have three 20GB partitions . When I go to My Computer to use my E: drive (20GB) , I can view contents momentarily then I get lockup . I give er' the old 3 finger salute and end unresponsive E: .

I am currently using AVG free antivirus edition , zone alarm free edition and Windows spyware pro BETA . I've even tried moving these contents ( about 8 gigs worth ) to a folder on main partition and then using them but with the same results . It seems as though these files have been tagged somehow and I cannot view them or read , play , delete them regardless of location .

I've done complete system scans with both antivirus and spyware scanners but to no avail . I'm not using Norton any longer because of it's resource hogging tendencies , but if AVG is not enough may be convinced to switch back .

I've included a Hijack this log as a help if necessary .

Please Advise !!!!
