Internet Explorer will load a page just fine: download the text and graphics, photos, etc. But when I click on a link to download a specific file, I get the error message about 5 seconds after the download has started. The message says:
"Internet Explorer could not download *file name* from *site name*
Internet explorer was not able to open this internet site. The site is either unavailable or cannot be found Please try again later."
This happens everytime I try to download a file, regardless of the site. What can I do? It's extra frustrating because I need a pop-up protector and a firewall, but cant download them.
