I've recently downloaded avi video file from Kazaa in My shared folder. The file is apparently corrupted so I tried to delete it but I am not able to do that. Every time the message appears:"this file has been used by another person or program" but I wasn't even on line and only this folder was open. I've tried to delete it in safe mode(Windows xp) but unsuccesfully. Please if somebody have any idea how to fix this, tell me. It's really annoying!
Thank's!

Also, help for anything connected with Kazaa is limited here. We'll help you get RID of Kazaa, but that's about all. TSG does not support P2P file sharing or illegal downloading of copyrighted material.

MoveOnBoot - move or delete files on next reboot
MoveOnBoot allows you to copiy, moves or delete files on the next system boot. This comes in very handy, if you need to replace or delete files which are locked by other applications, loaded into memory or cannot be changed until next system boot. You could manually enter a line to the wininit files, but using MoveOnBoot is much simpler, since the program can be integrated into shell - it creates the "Copy/Move/Delete on boot" context menu item.

BusyDelete BusyDelete will delete files even if they are busy. The file(s) you specify will be marked for deletion. Then the next time you reboot your system the Operating System will delete the file(s). For example BDEL ATL.DLL will delete the file during the next reboot.

Have you ever bored by this Windows message : "Error Deleting File or Folder, ... There has been a sharing violation. The source or destination file may be in use.", when you try to delete, move or rename a file ?
WhoLockMe is a little extension for your Microsoft Explorer. It permits you to list all the processes locking your selected file.

===============================

Try moving the folder to C: & from Explorer delete the file .
Or ,
Try booting to Safe Mode & removing .

Move on boot will remove the file no problem.
But i would think you have an infected system if your using P2P programs.

Do this:
go to http://www.lurkhere.com/~nicefiles/ , and download 'Hijack This!'.....
Unzip it to its own folder, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Press that, save the log somewhere, and please copy & paste its contents to the forum.

It will possibly show other issues deserving our attention, but most of what it lists will be harmless or even required, so do NOT fix anything yet.
Someone here will be happy to help you analyze the results.

If you have anything disabled by MSConfig or any other startup manager, please re-enable it before scanning to post.

;)

:) This Move On Boot is the real thing. It deleted the file and now everything seems to be in order. I run :Ad aware, Spyboot S&D, AVG and Norton SW and found no problems. At this stage I see no need for Hijack this but correct me if I am wrong. I know that Kazaa can be dangerous but what is the alternative? Thanks everybody for a support and god bless you people!
