Can't access any URL

My parents have an actiontec 1524 dsl router. gateway pc/win 98SE.
All was well Saturday night. Now, they can't get to anything on the Internet.
IE gives them a server not found error on every page they try. The DSL router shows all connections up and functional. I've had them reboot the pc and power cycle the dsl modem - no help. Under the device manager, everything looks good, the ethernet card shows it is working properly. the manual for the dsl router says to enter http://192.168.0.1 to get directly to the dsl router. we still get the sever not found error message.

Sometimes IP addresses get "stuck" on 98 and 98SE systems. To "unstick" them, open a command window (DOS prompt), and type the following:

ipconfig /release_all
ipconfig /renew_all
