Ive always had this problem... when i try the online virus scans (just tried Panda and Symantec) my PC ends up crashing long before its done. Panda had found 4 infected files, and it said it disinfected them. However, the scan hung after about 2 hours, do you think the files are actually disinfected??? I guess this is why i got rid of norton in the first place 6 months ago, i would leave my PC on all night to scan and wake up to a rebooted PC lol. Any ideas?

Do you use a virus scanner on your computer at this time? If not get AVG antivirus: a great free antivirus program that I use and love.

Go Here Download SpyBot Search and Destroy and Ad-Aware Se Update and do a scan with both of them getting rid of all they find

Try a scan with Housecall and Panda

Download AVG 7 if you do not have an on board antivirus program

After doing ALL the above

Download Hijack This 1.99.0 Do a scan and post the log here please
