Can you run the TSG System Information Tool please? I can't seem to locate your device.

You should capitalize on the warranty as you have just over 30 days left. The warranty also has on-site repairs (usually a contractor that will replace whatever part/s you need. If Device Manager doesn't have the sound device in it, then you most likely have an hardware issue.

" but I bought it used. I hoped you could tell me how to get an audio system in it. thanks, Fraak
