Hello guys,
I'm using a dial-up connection in my PC and for the last 2 months, I've been facing a problem in creating hotspot using CMD. I used to get internet in my cellphone from this hotspot and now since it's not working I'm finding it real hard. I don't know what could have caused it to stop working.
After creating hotspot, you can see the hosted network icon in the "network connections" tab. (Hosted network is marked with red and the internet connection is marked with blue arrow.)
Now when I take the sharing tab from my internet connection's properties, I'm getting this warning message like never before.
And then when I press OK for both the dialogue box and the window, I get this error. "COM surrogate has stopped working"
And then the explorer gets crashed and I have to restart explorer.exe again. The hotspot doesn't start either. I also used "Connectify Hotspot" to check if it works. But the issue still persists. Can anybody help me?
P.S : I'm using Windows 10 Pro Insider Preview 14295.1005. It would be great, if someone could help me by remotely accessing my PC with teamviewer or something.
Regards,
Midhun
