My HP laptop has been infected with trojan.fakeavalert. Thats what Nortons calls it anyway. Scanning with Nortons only finds 2 files but they come back.
Most removal instructions I've found suggest starting in safe mode but my computer wont do it now.
I press PF8, it goes to the DOS looking screen, and I select safemode and hit enter, then it seems to reboot and comes back to the same screen again, and then trys to boot windows normally.
Is there anyway to get out of this loop?
Thanks!
