Can I Install XP Pro on my computer?

You can run XP Pro I know someone that is running a 866 P-3 with a gig of ram with XP Pro but you really will be disappointed at the speed loss from 2000 to XP, personally I would just stay with 2000 until I upgraded my PC to a bigger processor model, but this is just my opinion I am sure everyone has their own.

First off I personally would not do an upgrade, I will do a new complete install, and you can save all you files to a cd or another drive if you want, and then do a new installation, yes you probably could do a successful upgrade from 2000 to XP but I just don't like to upgrade Operating Systems but I am sure it's done everyday, but again just my opinion.
