Can I Install XP Pro on my computer?

Hey all.

If I went out and purchased a Windows XP Pro package, would I be able to install the operating System on my Windows 2000 computer?

It was an IBM business computer and I purchased it from IBM after they no longer needed it.

I did install the most up to date graphics card.
I opened it up and on the inside it reads:

Intel 815
FW82815
F0411F67
SL 4DP
Oh Heres the Specs I was able to confirm as well:

128MB
40x CD Rom
Win200 Pro
Yeh i put in a graphics card for my son to play 3d games
Will all the stuff on the computer be deleted when I upgrade?
i don't know, I haven't bought it yet. Should it have sp2?
how is it i do i complete reinstall?
I bought a new cd and installed it. It works fine and yes SP2 was on it.

I have just found out that USB Flash Discs no longer work on the computer since i put XP on. It shows up as found new hardware and recognizes the device but it does not show in my computer and i cant access it. Why?
no, nor do i have any idea how to do that
