TSG:
I'm using STOMP Backup MyPc 4.85 as my backup software, with Windows XP OEM, Svc Pk 1 (all critical updates included).
I also have (AMD) Athlon 2100+ processor (1.73 MGHz) and an NForce Motherboard.
Question 1: If I experience a system crash involving the motherboard, CD-ROM, DVD, or processor, do I have to replace all the damaged hardware with the same hardware in order to recover all of my files and settings?
Question 2: Can I upgrade the damaged hardware and still recover my system with the recovery backup?
Question 3: If I change (different brand) or upgrade the damaged hardware, is my disaster recovery toast?!!
I appreciate any advice you can offer. Thanx
