Can’t load ie besides search

I just recently did a reinstall windows XP, I would love to install a better browser but unfortunately Internet explorer won’t let me open any webpages. I’m connected to wireless Internet and am able to use the search bar to search for things via Bing but I cannot open any of the links, the search results come out fine through the bing website, but when I click the links they come up As cannot load the page, if I type a website in the address bar it also shows Cannot load page error. What is preventing me from Opening any other page?

Maxthon Cloud Browser 5.3.8.2000 is the only up-to-date browser that I'm aware of that works with Windows XP SP3 32-bit.
I use it in my Windows XP Pro SP3 32-bit test computer, and it works fine and loads all of my regularly-visited websites.

If you did a reinstall of Windows XP SP3 32-bit, its built-in Internet Explorer browser is too old and is no longer supported and will not load most websites.

You didn't say if your reinstall includes Service Pack 3.
If it does not, you can obtain it from here:

Mypal

Download to your working computer. Put it on a USB stick and you can install it on the non-working XP.
