Trying to extract RAR archive and when it reach 76%, occurs an error. Archive is corrupted. Tried to repair it with RAR . Now it stops on 80% with the same error. Maybe there is some different ways to repair this archive?
Archive is not so big it’s about 2.6 gb. But it includes a lot of stuff from my old PC. There are my old work files and so on. So I need your help. There are some files really necessary for me.

Can you view the archive and extract individual folders or files?
What program are you using to unrar the 2.6 GB archive?
I usually use WinRAR which you can download many places. I've been using PeaZIP lately because it works a little different by doing the repair and extracting at the same time. You need to know how to work from a command line though. Here's the link. http://peazip.sourceforge.net/peazip-free-archiver.html#free_archiver. Thee is also a great program called Winarchiver. You could possibly use that program to mount the file like an ISO and then actually copy and paste the files. If the archive won't extract, won't repair (and you have no access to the original files or archive) this is the only way I know to get those files. Try the programs, follow the link in the previous post and any other advice you receive. There may not be one answer but maybe the combination of all of them will eventually get the result you want. One thing I would definitely do is make a backup (or two) of the archive before you start playing with it. You don't want to cause any more corruption than there already is. Good luck my friend!
