Ok, I usually plug my cam into the USB and it comes up as F drive. Buuut I have another hard drive plugged into my F drive and don't know how to remove it without messing things up. Is there anyway to get the camera to work another way? When I plug it in as it is now, it makes the connected sound, but nothing happens. x__x; thanks~

When you say you have another hard drive connected, is this an external drive connected by USB? I have two internal hard drives C: and D: (and a partition E:), I also have an external HD which is nearly always connected by USB1, but not always switched on via the power cable. When I switch it on it becomes F:. However when it is off and I connect my portable card reader for my camera then that becomes F:. If only one of these is connected (switched on) as F:, then the next one to be connected (switched on) becomes I: (G: and H: are for the CD, DVD drives). I am using Win ME and it installed its own drivers for the card reader (although a CD was provided for use with 98).
I would suggest you may have a driver problem as you shouldn't have to disconnect one drive just to enable another to operate. Also there is the chance to assign your own drive letters with this free program from http://www.v72735.f2s.com/LetAssig/Download.html

Another possibility might be that your Windows is not enabled to assign a drive letter beyond F: (up to Z: is normal), but this entails a registry change which I will leave for now.
