There's a difference of opinion for that tweak, personally I would check it, it will allow your your hard drive to free up some of it's 'seeking' as the data will be available in your RAM, a faster source, the tweak is theoretically faster, , as long as you have more that 32MBs of RAM it certainly will not detract from your performance. But there are other several good tweaks in that 'performance' tab in 'system' as well. . and this site covers all of them. The one of real interest; "for typical role of computer > choose 'network server' for better performance"
