c drive full?

i have a compaq 7360 and recently evertime i try to play music or pretty much anything it tells me i have run out of disk space on drive c i've deleted all my music and documents and it still tells me that.and when i attivate disk clean up it tells me i have 0.00 files to delete can someone help?

If you're out of disk space, you'll need to remove software you don't use or buy a new, larger hard drive.

i dont know what to remove it says i only have 4.90mb and i have 7.43gb used.
