Where is the best place to buy computer parts at wholesale prices online?

Is there a directory or something I could look at somewhere?

As Jack has mentioned return policies and customer service is very important when ordering on-line. NewEgg does have good customer relations and the pricing is very reasonable for product. Buying true wholesale in many cases requires state permits since taxing is involved when item is resold and I am not aware of any manufacturer or distributer that sells wholesale to individual customers.

Thanks for your replies. I use newegg.com and pcdirect.com currently. I've had to deal with customer service on both these and they handled my issues in a quick and friendly manner.

Thanks again.

I will post a wholesale directory listing when they send me my next newletter (I am a member of a true wholesalers group)

The problem is true wholesale you get whatever is available and you usually have to buy 200+ items (some are 10000+) Also computers aren't the best (cheapest) wholesale item to deal with anyway and viewing the thousands of offers is annoying, not to mention 90% are for things I wouldn't buy.

I used to belong to an international wholesale group and there where really good deals overseas but the shipping and customs killed you.

Who wants 200 1.4ghz Emachines anyway?

Cheers

Generally I use ebay and newegg. But, if I have a project relating to filling the needs of a retail store, I use http://www.computersurplusoutlet.com/
You can get reciept printers, thin terminals, touch screens, cash drawers, strip readers, pole displays, etc for extremely good prices. Stock varies from week to week, so sign up for their newsletter.

http://tigerdirect.com usually has some surprisingly good deals and specials...

But... in order to save you all that loot they have almost no customer service program at all... they trully are the worst if you have a problem...

I usually only use them for purchasing items like software, and Media... but a few weeks ago I did by an ATI 9200 vid card from them for $30... at that price its usually worth the risk....
