INFORMATION ABOUT
PC wonder inc
www.pcwonderinc.com

I have had MAJOR problems with PC Wonder Inc. and I have never been treated so UNFAIRLY in my entire life. I purchased a 9800 pro during Sept. 2003 and they sent me the regular 9800, which could be understandable, but they dodged me for an extended period of time until they finally sent me another card. The second time it was FAULTY and the WRONG MODEL. Then they changed addresses and continued to dodge me further. I have a complete report that I have filed with the Better Business Bureau explaining how they have been extrodinarily DECEIPTFUL and FRAUDULENT. They are a fraudulent business that wants to steal your money.

Do not purchase from them. I am currently working with Visa to rememdy this situation. If anybody is interested in my extended multi page report on these liars, please email me at [email protected] with the heading "REQUEST FOR PC WONDER REPORTS".

I was going to tell you to go to resellerratings .com but I can see your post at the top of the page. I think you are correct in your assertion that the ratings there are fake. GO to Google and check the newsgroups for keywords pcwonderinc and you will find a few folks with the 9800 issues you are describing. I know I won;t shop there.

Their selling a Geforce 2 MX 400 for $89.10 ON SALE!

This is a card that is THREE GENERATIONS old...I bought that same card for around that same price online two years ago...

That site is a joke . Looks like their trying to squeeze money out of people that don't know any better.

They list their Seagate 80gig HDD for almost $30 more than what I paid for it earlier this week. Not as ridiculous but still very, very 'off' for an online store.

www.tigerdirect.com is a pretty good retailer also. I don't advise buying pre-built PCs from them though, as you'll have a helluva time trying to get the warranty honored since it's not covered by them, but the company you buy it from. ibuypower is a custom built PC operation that I had a horrid experience with, don't buy from them. Best to take the time and learn to build your own, but if you have to buy a PC, go to Dell or something.

Doesn't this belong in reviews though?
