Hello all,

When I add data to a multi-session cd the list of what was on there before dissapears, all I see on the disc is the data added at the last seesion.

The size of the cd indicates the earlier data is still on there but I can't see what's on there, what am I doing wrong?

Regards....CC

It's Nero you have isn't it?
On the multisession tab in the new compilation window, check the options at the bottom.
Is the 'replace files' box checked? And if it is, by what rule? (next boxes below that) For example, if 'always' is checked, then the files on the CD will always be replaced, only the new version of the file will show.
If the 'remove deleted files' is checked, any files that you have deleted from the source folder on your computer will be mirrored on the CD.
The space will still show up as being used on the CD because the files cannot be 'unwritten' so to speak, they are just removed from view on the CD but still take up the same space as when viewable.
Once written, space gone, even if 'removed' (from view) On CDRW discs you can wipe and start again of course, but until then, whatever has been written to the disc takes up it's space whether you can see it or not.
