I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction on this on, I'm don't burn audio CD's that much.

I converted my computer into a makeshift recording studio and decided to burn a few mini-cd's I had laying around. When I play a track I recorded into my computer back it sounds perfectly fine. But, after I burn it to a mini-cd and played it on a cd player is sounds bit distorted, especally when the volume is turned up.

Can anybody know of any good books or websites that cover CD recording or have any ideas as what's going on?

I don't know why they'd be distorted, if you can program full size CD's without problems. I've used a couple of the little ones for driver install packages that I want to carry around, they're a convenient size if you are packing them around. :)
