I have recently started having a couple odd problems with by web browsers. Both Netscape 7.2 and Firefox 2 will not load some web pages that require logging in. After I type my name and password, the next page acts like it's about to load, but never gets beyond the "waiting for www.xxxxxx.com..." After a couple minutes the "the document contains no data" message appears. It happens with the same sites on both browsers, and only on some sites. I pay my bills online every month, and about half the sites started doing this all at the same time. Coincidentally (or maybe not) IE will no longer even start. It opens, but will not load my homepage (an html file on my C drive) and locks up. I have run anti-spyware (Windows Defender) and anti-virus (AGV) scans, and both show nothing. I am rinning Windows XP, and everything is up to date. Anyone have any ideas??
