Browser lock ups?

This is a strange problem that seems as if it should have to do with privacy or security settings, but nothing I do can correct it. I use a cable connection and have no problems connecting to any sites, except for an online casino I frequent often. I get to the hom epage, yet when trying to sign on, the page sits there and then come up with the "The Page Cannot Be Displayed" error page. I do not have a firewall and I have reset all my security and privacy options at the lowest level. I have emptied all Temp files and cookies.
Now for the strange part, which tells me it's not the browser settings. When I log in using a dial-up connection, I can log into my personal page on the site (albeit slowly), without timing out. I have called the site and they blame my ISP because I can get in thru dial-up. I call my ISP and they blame the site, because all signals are strong that they can see.

Any hints from the good people on this site???

run cwshredder, then
run x-cleaner
this will remove most of it

after this
download, install, run & update
spybot & ad-aware
to clean the rest of the PC up.
remove any items they list

also on my site is a winsock 2 fix
this file repairs parts of the windows registy
and replace the hosts file with a fresh new copy
