When on a website and prompted to click on a link taking you to a registration page, an error message comes up and prevents me from getting to that page.
The message says: "Page cannot be displayed"
Is their some setting on the browser that needs to be checked?

I'm having the same (similar?) issue. This just started recently. Allow me to elaborate:

IE 6.0 - When clicking on a link embedded in an e-mail or website, a "minimized" or smaller window opens and goes no further. Minimized window is blank. Sometimes, in the bottom left corner of the main page, an "error" symbol/shield appears. When clicking on the error symbol, the following message (e.g.)is revealed:

Line: 157
Char: 1
Error: Class not registered
Code: 0
URL: xxx.xxx.xxx

This occurs both with links that I click on and pop-ups. I don't miss the pop-ups, but this sux when trying to use a link as designed.

FWIW...this problem does not exist when I switch over to my Mozilla browser (on the same machine).

Thanks in advance,

D. Ocean
