I was wondering if you could have a look at the HJT log... My friend (Hitler) thinks it has a trojan

If I could have seen anything I wouldn't have asked what was wrong

all I can see is this left over from removing norton

Run hijackthis, put a tick in the box beside these entries listed below and ONLY these entries, double check to make sure, then make sure all browser & email windows are closed and press fix checked

O20 - Winlogon Notify: NavLogon - C:\WINDOWS\

what makes your friend suspect a trojan

Windows Security Center Messages kept popping up saying "Trojan detected on system"

I dunno...

He's Hitler (above)

I'll ask him 2 get in touch

Download Combofix to your desktop:

* Double-click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
* When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log in your next reply.

Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall.
