Nope.It won't let me get that far.It just brings up the compaq word acroos the screen befor it ever get to the post section.It will not let me get into the bios or anything
Booting up my 7470
Had to put in a new hard drive,Now when I put my 98 boot disk ,or my quick restore in ,It will go to where it says Compaq in the middle and memory size it upper left hand corner.It also has a big flashing light in the upper right hand corner.That is as far as it will go.What do I need.Or how can I get it to boot up to my 98 boot disk?

I have a boot disk with cdrom support that I just use on my son's computer and it works fine.This compaq will not go into anything once it get to where the word compaq come's up with the memory in the left hand corner and a white blinking light in the right hand top corner.It will stay right here until you shut it down.I was thinking that maybe I need a compaq boot disk to get it up and going or something.I build clones all of the time and never run unti this problem
I finnally pulled the battery out of it and cleared the bios and it let me boot to my boot disk,Thanks for the help
