Hello, I am actually writing this for a friend of mine. he has windows Xp SP1 and everytime he has been trying to start his computer latley it has given him a message that reads (on a blue screen) "Cannot find registry hive file" then a bunch of #'s and a win32 sign.....im not sure if that is enough info to where someone can tell me anything but i would really appreciate the help.

I would run some tests and then repair Windows XP.
