Alright first off I'll post the specs of the computer:

Windows Vista Home Premium
Motherboard: Gigabyte S-Series MA78GM-S2H
Processor: AMD Athlon 64
Memory: 2gb Corsair DDR2 x2
Harddrive: Hitachi 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache 3.0Gb/s
CD drive: Samsung 22x DVD+R 16X DVD-ROM DVD Burner w/LightScribe
Power Supply: Corsair CMPSU-550vx 550w atx12v v2.2

All of that was installed and it was happening before I installed wireless card.
Wireless card: Gigabyte AirCruiser G PCI

Whenever I shutdown or restart the computer, the tower will turn back on but the monitor nor the mouse or the keyboard, which both have LEDs in them so I can tell when they are on, will not turn back on. I have to shut down the tower, unplug the power cord, and then take out the watch battery on the motherboard for about a minute. I put it back in and plug the tower back in, and then everything turns on perfect. What the heck is the problem?

I'm not liking this everytime I want to restart I have to do the same process over and over again. But when I do so it comes to a screen for me to push F1 to boot normally and I HAVE to push it or the computer will act like it's starting up but the monitor, keyboard and mouse will shut off again.

Can someone PLEASE help me?
