Hey all, I've got an older (4-5 years old) Dell (Dimension, I believe) Desktop. I believe it to have a Boot Sector Error. Can't boot w/o getting the BSoD and if I try to boot into safe mode I get a different BSoD stating to check for viruses and also to run chkdsk. When attempting to boot normally the BSoD error is 0x0000007B. I can't boot it either normally or in safe mode. I'm going to try booting with floppies tonight when I get home. Here's the embarrassing part - I work in an IT department with HP's. This Dell at home is really throwing me. It's running XP Home Ed. Any suggestions?
